We’re working to solve the problem of cancer drug resistance which reduces clinical benefit and causes drugs to fail in clinical trials

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, with the number of patients living with cancer expected to triple by 2060. There is a significant increase in the number of therapeutic interventions available, but:

  • only 1 in 3 patients receiving therapy respond.

  • 2 out of 3 patient's tumors harbor innate resistance to drug treatment and will remain without a therapeutic solution.

  • 90% of clinical trials fail, 57% due to lack of efficacy and 17% due to toxicity.

Innate and acquired resistance are responsible for limiting the clinical benefit of oncology drugs

Cell Response’s Resistome™ platform enables:

  • The identification of drug-specific resistance pathways.

  • The rapid development of First-in-Class drugs to overcome resistance.

  • Comparison of your drug portfolio to prioritise indications and first to clinic.

  • The rapid, parallel evaluation of multiple drug combinations.

  • Improved biomarker strategies for patient selection and monitoring.

  • The rapid determination of on and off-target effects to understand mechanism of action and toxicity.
